Call for Art - Theme “CityScapes” Online Art Competition

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces an art call for the gallery’s 3rd Annual “CityScapes” Juried Art Competition for the month of June 2013.  The gallery invites all 2D artists (including photography) from around the world are called upon to make online submissions for inclusion in to the Gallery’s July 2013 online group art exhibition.

Cityscape subjects would be considered to be any 2D art depicting cities, towns, urban scenes and any related metropolitan subjects for this art competition. For the fifth consecutive year, Ideabornis hosting an art contest to select and purchase an image for our New Years greeting card. Ideaborn seeks submissions by artists whose work helps to reflect the economic, social and cultural reality of a developing country.

This year will mark ideaborn’s second formalized contest, and we ask that all submissions follow the listed rules for entry.


In this sense, besides a 1000 Euro Prize for the winner of the Contest, we wish to contribute to his/her promotion via our website and social networks, as well as by sending a Card with the reproduction of the winner artwork to our partners all over the world.  Furthermore, all the artworks will be issued and promoted via our website and social networks.


This contest is reserved to Artists, including young talented artists, who have Curriculum Vitae attesting their activity in art field.

 

The theme of the competition is the cultural and social reality of a country, its history and everyday life; the artwork awarded should represent the deeper identity of a country in Asia, Africa, and Latin America

 

A jury composed by professionals in the art field will evaluate all the artworks and select the winner among all participants.

 

The prize of 1000 Euros -IVA included- is intended to buy the winner piece and its copyrights.

 

The contest will open from the 16 of April to the 15 of July 2013.
