Ms Cai Yun Iris, a Chinese national with cultural identity deeply rooted in southeastern China, and grows up as a permanent resident in the sunny island of Singapore.

She is a media enthusiast currently pursuing her degree in Communication Studies (Broadcast & Cinema Studies) in Singapore Nanyang Technological University. She is always exploring new possibilities, and her broad interest in media and the arts scenes had brought her to great heights in various fields. Her greatest passion lies in TV, and has experience working for both channels and production houses. She is also a writer for various publications (including newspaper, websites), and a radio journalist training to be a presenter. Being an appreciator of theatre work, she had performed on stage for both big-scale productions and street performances, taking a lead role.

Her love for culture and travel had seen her living, studying and working in the U.S.A and Japan for three months and half a year respectively, venture across the two nations and numerous cities. Other places that she had been to recently include Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Taiwan, and her next step is to do photojournalism with a famous news organization based in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Meeting new people from all walks of life is the biggest present that never fails to delight her, and she is glad to undertake yet another exciting journey here with ASEF University.
