British Dance Edition Cymru 2016 takes place in Wales from 15 to 18 March 2016. The four-day programme of inspiring, eclectic, large and small scale contemporary dance includes the cream of UK dance artists and companies. Delegate registration for dance promoters and producers in the UK and overseas is open. Promising one of the most prestigious UK dance events of the year, BDE2016 will be held across four venues – Wales Millennium Centre, Dance House and Chapter in Cardiff and The Riverfront in Newport. The four-day programme of inspiring, eclectic, large and small scale contemporary dance has now been announced and includes the cream of UK dance artists and companies. Surrounding the performance programme are significant industry trade show, companies pitching ideas for new productions and networking opportunities. Delegate registration for dance promoters and producers based both in the UK and overseas is now open. BDE2016 also offers one day passes for the first time. Presenting Companies - see website for details of selected companies 36 companies performing work, with 16 companies not previously presented at British Dance Edition 3 programme pathways with 19 performance slots presented in 15 performance spaces in 4 venues 11 companies pitching their work, 8 x 10-minute conference style pitches and 3 x 30-minute studio based pitches, with 5 previously not presented at British Dance Edition In total 47 companies presenting at BDE including 34 English, 4 Scottish, 1 Northern Irish & 8 Welsh companies If you or your organisation is based in the United Kingdom, you should complete the UK Delegate Registration form. Once you have been offered a place you will be expected to pay a fee of £180 plus VAT. If you are based outside the UK you should complete the International Delegate Registration Form. Places are offered free of charge to international delegates. All delegates will be provided with refreshments and meals throughout the showcase. Registration is open from Friday 20 November and our early bird deadline is the 11 December 2015. We will aim to notify all successful registrations by the 18 December 2015 and a 2nd round of registration is open in the New Year.
