The SCAPE 7 Public Art Christchurch Biennial will run from September 27-November 9 2013.  The event features commissioned works in the city by artists from New Zealand alongside international artists from Malaysia, Australia and the UK. SCAPE 7 will see the creation of one major legacy (permanent) public artwork, a public art walkway which will feature twelve new temporary artworks and include artworks from previous SCAPE Biennial events, an education and community engagement programme and a series of public events. SCAPE Public Art's vision is for Christchurch people, and visitors to our city, to be excited, engaged and stimulated by artworks that are well regarded and known by the national and international art worlds.
