The François Schneider Foundation in Wattwiller (France) launches the 7th edition of its “Contemporary Talents 2017” Competition in order to discover, accompany and reveal new talents to the general public and to support contemporary creation. Submit an artwork or a project on the theme of WATER.

Each year the competition chooses seven prize winners. It is open to candidates of all nationalities, all ages, and in all disciplines related to visual arts.

The support made available for the laureates is as follows:

• 20 000 euros prize money 


• A group exhibition at the Contemporary Art Center


• A bilingual publication presenting the works of prize-winners


• The acquisition of works for the Foundation's collection
