Deggendorf Craft Museum | Bookends craft & design competition

The craft museum of the city of Deggendorf in southern Germany holds a competition for craft and design every three years. In 2020 the theme of the ninth competition is "Pillars of Society - Bookends rediscovered". The craft museum is awarding a price of € 2,500 for this. Artisans, craftspeople and designers of all trades are invited to participate, and trainees and students can also apply.

The works admitted to the competition will be presented in a special exhibition from January 26, 2021 - April 25, 2021 in the Deggendorf Craft Museum. A catalog is published for the exhibition, in which the competition work is documented.

Application deadline based on photos for participation in the competition is August 31, 2020.
