Singapore | Hatch Art Project call for 'Art for the Future' proposals

If you're an artist in Southeast Asia who is passionate about exploring trends in today's digital society, Hatch Art Project in Singapore is interested in working with you and showing your creations. Call for exhibition work proposals on digital, AI themes - Art for the Future - for showing at Singapore gallery and partner spaces.

Scroll through the feeds of any website or social media platform and you are inundated with terms such as Artificial Intelligence (A.I.), surveillance, big data, blockchain, machine learning. Art too is increasingly pervaded by the use of Augmented Reality (A.R.), Virtual Reality (V.R) and nanotechnology.  In fact, Banksy’s self-destructing work of art is probably the most novice bit of art and tech in 2018 - that’s how far we have come.

For Hatch Art Project, it is also imperative to use art to explore existential trends in our 21st century digital society. This includes identity, power, consumerism, post-capitalism, online dating, posthumanism to name a few.

Working with diverse South East Asian artists to explore our hyper-contemporary society is an important step towards this direction. We hope as artists you will be interested in joining us to create ART FOR THE FUTURE.
