Action Parties provides temporary space for creative enthusiasts and is now looking for proposals for its third installment at Art Space at dbl O in Singapore on 7 and 9 July 2012. Artists, filmmakers, performers, designers, art collectives, students, musicians, art enthusiasts, curators, dancers, photographers, and art managers are welcome to submit.
The key objective is to use the space within the specified duration and make an ‘action’. What could it be? The quirkier, more interesting interpretations of this is sought after. And of course, they have to be feasible and realizable. Action Parties is open to unexpected ideas – for example, a photographer wants to turn the gallery into a studio and hold a wedding shoot where the bride and groom are exhibitionists who wouldn’t mind an audience for company at their shoot. As long as you have an art-related ‘action’ idea, you are eligible to apply.
