Facets 2012-13 - international call for Applications for an International Choreography Residency with Attakkalari in Bangalore, India. Six week intensive training and production support for 15 selected participants.

Attakkalari offers a six week intensive training to create a new work with a premiere at the Attakkalari India Biennial 2013. 15 selected participants have the opportunity to work with international Mentors and Collaborators. We also provide production support for the premiere along with accommodation and living costs for the entire workshop period.

Eligibility: Applicants must have a track record of choreographing original work and be interested in developing a 10 to 15 min solo dance work in Bangalore, India. We will consider the possibility of collaborating with another participating choreographer or a dancer as an exceptional situation if additional funds and facilities can be arranged. However, each choreographer has to make an original work of their own.

Workshop/Residency dates: 5 December 2012 - 23 January 2013
