The François Schneider Foundation is launching the 2nd edition of “Contemporary Talents”, an international contemporary art competition, which introduces seven works of art by seven international artists working in various fine arts disciplines. During its first edition,  1029 candidates took part, from 35 countries on 5 continents. The  Foundation is looking to have even international artists participate for this second edition.

François Schneider seeks to support contemporary creation worldwide through the acquisition of works of art which focus more particularly on the theme of water. This will be a recurring theme in all the events initiated by the Foundation.

The contribution of ”Talents contemporains” is one of the largest in Europe (300,000 Euros) and enables a vast acquisition programme to be carried out. “Contemporary Talents” therefore invites artists from all over the world to submit their proposals until December 15, 2012.
