Created in 2000, as part of a collaboration agreement with the National Institute of Performing Arts and Music (INAEM). The Red Escena has 114 members, including 104 theatres and auditoriums and 10 regional circuits or networks from Spain’s autonomous communities, which together incorporate over 450 public stages and venues.
Among its goals at international level, the Network aims to promote a tighter collaboration among national and international theatres, auditoriums, public and private circuits and networks. This is done with the vision of supporting richer long-term working relations in the performing arts.
The website is only in Spanish language.
