Roaring Hooves Festival

 

Roaring Hooves Festival is an annual international festival of actual music and a Gobi summer academy.

President of the festival is the German conductor and professor Bernhard Wulff. Roaring Hooves is a new music festival which takes place in the Gobi desert. The festival was initiated 1999. It invites artists from diverse European and Asian countries and is supposed to be a meeting point of internationally well-known musicians, teachers, composers, Mongolian musicians and students.

This festival concept offeres for the very first time in the country of Dshingis Khaan a meeting of two different musical cultures: Musicians from different countries, will meet with Mongolian musicians and played together with them at locations of Mongolian history.
