Kampot Readers and Writers Festival 2019

Kampot Readers and Writers Festival (KRWF) presents a five day program of events in Kampot, Cambodia from 20-24 November 2019, bringing lively conversations, superb literary lunches, brilliant live performances, instructive workshops, collaborative art exhibits, incredible music, poetry, spoken word, delicious food and much more.

KRWF 2019 brings stories, music and art on the theme of "Harmony".

Over 5 hectic days and salubrious nights, rustic Kampot comes alive! as a hot bed of bold ideas, incredible stories, and is a place to discover emerging talent alongside some of the world’s leading voices in a ‘down homey’ riverside celebration of words, art & song in the Kingdom of Wonder.

The Kampot Writers & Readers Festival is the largest celebration of words, art & song on the lower Mekong. As a diverse team of volunteers we strive to create community arts festival in provincial Cambodia, bringing lively conversation, poetry readings, music concerts, cooking classes, gourmet lunches, social development, art shows, book launches, book swaps, countryside tours, workshops, youth literature and children’s events.

KWRF launched in 2015 as a ‘little sister’ festival inspired and supported by Ubud Writers & Readers Festival.
