Science Gallery Bengaluru exhibitions from European partners
Science Gallery Bengaluru serves as a hub for travelling exhibitions, hosting showcases from global institutions that explore the intersections of science, art, and society. From multimedia installations to cutting-edge space collaborations, these exhibitions bring diverse perspectives and innovative storytelling to the city. Each exhibition is accompanied by a series of public engagement programmes ranging from lectures and workshops to film screenings and performances.
There are two travelling exhibitions in April, each with European partners.
Italian Design Day: Re-Design. Regenerating Spaces, Objects, Idea, Relations, 10–12 April 2026
This edition of Italian Design Day (IDD) offers an opportunity for reflection on design and architecture, employed in both the regeneration of our individual and shared living spaces, and the regeneration of materials and objects. The exhibition aims to showcase and celebrate Italian design excellence worldwide.
Imagine: Coral Reef, 9 April to 14 May 2026
The exhibition offers visitors a unique journey into the vibrant ecological world of coral reefs often called the ‘rainforests of the sea’ due to the variety of biodiversity and lifeforms they support. Inspired by one of nature’s most complex ecosystems, the exhibition highlights the urgency of protecting our oceans and marine life, while showcasing innovative approaches to ecological responsibility. For this exhibition Science Gallery Bengaluru partnered with Austrian Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs, Austrian Cultural Forum New Delhi and the Institute of Design Research Vienna (IDRV).
