Working conditions of artists in Asia
On 9 July 2026, ENCATC and the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) are jointly organising the online event ‘The Status and Working Conditions of Artists and Cultural and Creative Professionals in Asia’.
This session will bring together perspectives from different Asian contexts to explore how artists’ and cultural professionals’ working conditions are being shaped by policy, education, institutions, digitalisation, mobility, and wider support ecosystems. It will also open space for reflection on the value of Asia-Europe dialogue in this field.
