Artist Fellowship Programme for ASEAN artists

 

Applications are now open for the Maybank Foundation Artist Fellowship Programme (MFAFP) 2026, for emerging artists across ASEAN.

The fellowship allows artists to take their creative practice to the next level through a fellowship designed to nurture artistic growth and professional development.

MFAFP Fellows will gain access to:

• Hands-on workshops and masterclasses
• Exclusive mentorship and sharing sessions with renowned industry practitioners
• Opportunities to collaborate and exchange ideas with fellow artists from across the region
• A platform to showcase your work at a regional exhibition

Fellowship Timeline

• Fellowship Commences with Incubation: 2 – 11 September 2026
• Production of Artwork: 12 September – 26 October 2026
• Exhibition Setup: 27 – 29 October 2026
• Final Exhibition in Kuala Lumpur: 30 October – 4 December 2026

Eligibility

• Artists aged 23 to 45
• Citizens of ASEAN nations
• Artists who have participated in at least one exhibition
• Practicing artists for a minimum of three years
