Arts Experience Fund between New Zealand and Asia

The Arts Experience Fund supports self-directed opportunities for New Zealand-based arts practitioners to build meaningful artistic and professional connections in Asia. This can include residencies, research tours, work placements and exchanges.

The purpose of the fund is to:

  • strengthen artistic and professional ties between Aotearoa and Asia.
  • expand networks and open new opportunities for New Zealand artists.
  • boost the visibility and international engagement of the New Zealand arts community.

Eligibility

  • individual artists, including visual artists, writers, musicians, choreographers, directors and performers
  • individual arts managers, including curators, producers, programmers

Support

The fund offers grants of up to 5,000 NZD. Costs can include travel, accommodation, project / residency fees, insurance, living costs, materials or equipment, translation or interpreting costs.
