India delegation for emerging NZ screen creatives

The Asia New Zealand Foundation Te Whītau Tūhono invites applications from emerging New Zealand screen creatives to join a delegation to the Mumbai International Film Festival (MIFF) 2026 in Mumbai, India.

This opportunity is part of the Foundation’s Arts Delegation Programme, which aims to strengthen cultural exchange and collaboration between New Zealand and Asian arts sectors, expand professional networks and increase opportunities for New Zealand arts in Asia, and enhance the visibility and engagement of New Zealand practitioners internationally.

For delegates, the programme is designed to build Asia capability, expand international collaboration pathways, deepen understanding of contemporary Indian screen storytelling, and support long-term professional engagement in the Asia region.

This opportunity is designed for practitioners who are building a professional screen career and have begun establishing a recognised body of work.

The delegation will take place in mid-June 2026. Exact dates will be confirmed, pending MIFF’s schedule announcement.

Support

Costs associated with flights, accommodation, transport while in India and entry to scheduled activities will be covered by the Foundation. A per diem will also be provided.
