Inspiring Asia Micro Film Festival 2026

 

The Inspiring Asia Micro Film Festival 2026 is calling for submissions focused on the theme of ‘Empowering Communities’ through the concept of ‘Root – Persevere – Flourish’.

Community empowerment is the process by which people within a community leverage their shared strengths to build their own future. This community is not defined solely by geographical boundaries, but also by a sense of belonging, mutual care, and shared goals. Communities become stronger when people come together in trust, with a commitment to action, to voice the often overlooked, and to build resilience so they can move forward with dignity and hope.

Inspiring Asia is a platform that celebrates Asian cultural diversity, the spirit of innovation, and the commitment to creating positive change. By 2026, the platform will expand to host regional film festivals in 8 countries (including China, Indonesia, Mongolia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Viet Nam), creating an even more inclusive platform to amplify the voices of local people across Asia.

Inspiring Asia Finals and Awards Ceremony will be held in Manila, the Philippines, on 25 October 2026.

Eligibility

Inspiring Asia is open to submissions across all genres, including animation, drama, documentary, and more. There are no restrictions on production methods; AI-generated films are also accepted.

The festival welcomes submissions from filmmakers, students, NGOs, and anyone looking to make a difference in society.
