Production and Storytelling ASEAN Workshop 2026

The call for entries for the 2026 Production and Storytelling (PaS) ASEAN Workshop is now open for ASEAN-based emerging producers.

PaS Production and Storytelling is a workshop focusing on the outline and structure of coproduction within the film industry. The workshop aims to familiarise young producers with a variety of important tools and international coproduction techniques by coaching individual projects in development.

The workshop is designed to prepare feature-length fiction projects in development from the ASEAN region for participation in a co-production meeting in France, organised by the Centre national du cinéma et de l'image animée in late 2026 in Paris.

Selected participants will take part in a two-stage, in-person workshop:

• 28 June – 4 July 2026: Viet Nam, during the Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF),
• September 2026: Thailand workshop

These sessions will prepare participants for the Paris co-production meeting.

Eligibility

This call is open to feature-length fiction film projects (of at least 60 minutes) in development with an attached producer and director-writer.

Eligible countries include all ASEAN member States: Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor Leste and Viet Nam.
