Spain | Korean Cultural Center Short Film Competition 2024
Short Film Competition of the Korean Cultural Center in Spain will be held in 2024 to contribute to the dissemination of different aspects of Korean culture and promote interest in Korea among Spanish directors. The contest is aimed at all Spanish citizens and constitutes a cultural exchange initiative between Korea and Spain.
The contest will accept short films of any genre (fiction, creative documentary, animation, experimental, and more), as long as they contain some relationship or reference to Korea (theme, culture, places, objects, population, etc.).
Critera include:
- Works of 3–20 minutes (credits included) produced from January 2021
- Short films that have not been originally produced in Spanish must have Spanish subtitles
- The director must be a legal resident in Spain, have Spanish nationality and be over 18
Prizes
1st Prize
Two round-trip tickets, from Madrid to Incheon (or Busan) and two return tickets from Seoul to Busan, a city known for its film production (optional).
2nd and 3rd Prize
A round trip ticket, from Madrid to Incheon (or Busan) and a round-trip ticket from Seoul to Busan, a city known for its film production (optional).
The arrival in Korea may occur at any time, as long as it is done within the deadline between the date of the award and 31 October 2025.
