Arts Initiative Tokyo

AIT is a non-profit organisation established in 2001 by 6 curators and an art manager with the aim of creating a platform for anyone interested in contemporary art to learn, interact, and think.

AIT will make use of the experience and knowledge it has cultivated so far, and work with collaborative partners around the world to take a deep interest in a sustainable society through art and culture, and move forward over the next 20 years. Focusing on the theme holistic (better life), they consider art as a more complex and sensuous "tool" that cultivates the imagination of living in the future, and the role and future that art can play. We will think and act.

AIT is a place of learning, and they also have a residency and offer consulting services.
