Aurora Artist Residency Program and Space

Founded in 2016, Aurora Artist Residency Program and Space (AARPS) is an independent, non-profit residency programme and art space focused on initiating discussions on community empowerment and environmental sustainability through research, education, and creative thinking and action.

AARPS believes in the potential of creativity — both in process and output — to cultivate critically engaged communities. It works in close partnership with various grassroots groups throughout Aurora and Luzon (Philippines), particularly the five Dumagat communities in Dingalan, located in the villages of Matawe, Caragsacan, Ibona, Umiray, and Dikapanikian.
