Partners for Indigenous Knowledge Philippines
Partners for Indigenous Knowledge Philippines (PIKP) is an NGO that serves as a bridge and learning network connecting organisations, Indigenous knowledge holders, researchers, artists, advocates, and communities in the Philippines, particularly in the Cordillera region. In the area of arts and culture, through initiatives such as the publication of books like Daddad-at ed Itogon: Stories by the indigenous peoples of Itogon and songs highlighting the stories of these regions, PIKP leverages on the arts to preserve and promote indigenous values and collective memories.
Through their work, PIKP advocates for respecting Indigenous knowledge as a current and living system.
