Media Partnership | Interview with Krack! Printmaking Collective

As part of culture360's Media Partnership with Krack! Printmaking Collective, we speak to Sukma Smita, Artistic Director of the TRILOGIA Printmaking Festival, to uncover the festival's journey, from the inception to the highlights of its first edition and their aspirations for the printmaking industry in Indonesia and globally.

From 7-20 December 2024, Krack! Printmaking Collective organised TRILOGIA Printmaking Festival in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. With the theme 'Character', the festival focused on printmaking's nature: distributive, repetitive and reproductive, offering insights into the ongoing practice and understanding of the art form and its connection to social and cultural dynamics. The event was composed of various activities, from unique exhibitions and community workshops to thought-provoking symposiums.

Know more about the festival's journey, its key moments and impacts from Sukma Smita, TRILOGIA 2024's Artistic Director:
