Podcast | The sustainability edition with Theodora Agni
In recent years, conversations around the role of the arts and culture sector in addressing issues around climate change have accelerated, with more attention being paid to environment, sustainability and mobility. Yet conditions don't always meet ambitions, especially in a countries like Indonesia, where vast geography and limited transport alternatives lead to a heavy reliance on air travel.
In this episode of Opportunities for Mobility & More, ASEF culture360 discusses the intersection of environmental sustainability, cultural mobility and the challenges Indonesia faces in navigating these issues with Theodora Agni. The podcast complements Agni's findings from the 2024 edition of the Indonesia Mobility Funding Guide, which provides a deeper insight into the current landscape of cultural mobility funding and sustainability in the region.
Since 2012, ASEF through culture360 has collaborated with On the Move (OTM), the European network for cultural mobility to jointly present the Mobility Funding Guides for International Cultural Exchange for the 51 countries of the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM). We hope that these guides will help you navigate cultural organisations that fund exchanges in and between Asia and Europe.
