Recording | Philippines Green Guide Roundtable
The recording of the launch and roundtable on the Green Guide for the Philippines is now available for viewing!
Following the online launch of the Green Guide for the Philippines, culture360.ASEF.org partnered with the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) for a hybrid publication launch and roundtable discussion titled ‘Creative Pathways to Sustainability: Launch and Roundtable on the Green Guide for the Philippines’.
Held on 9 February 2026 at the University of the Philippines, Museum of a History of Ideas, the event gathered speakers from Negros Occidental, Mindanao, Quezon City and Manila to share their insights on tangible solutions to local environmental challenges.
Together, the speakers shared critical perspectives on:
- What bridges arts organisations, collectives, and academic institutions need to build across sectors and geographics to foster a more sustainable Philippines?
- How the values of care, community reciprocity, and engagement can be embedded so that we work with rather than on local communities?
- Their hopes, priorities and call to actions in support of a more just, caring, and climate-resilient Philippines, using the green guide as a living tool

Since 2015, ASEF has been publishing the series Creative Responses to Sustainability through its arts & culture portal, culture360.ASEF.org. This series of country-specific guides looks at arts organisations that address issues of sustainability in their artistic practice in several countries of Asia and Europe. The previous guides focused on Singapore (2015), Korea (2016), Indonesia (2017), Australia (2018), Portugal (2019), Spain (2019), United Kingdom (2021) and India (2025), with the spin-off in the series on the city of Berlin (2017).
