11th London Short Film Festival | 10th to 19th January
The London Short Film Festival is renowned for its daring cross-arts programming, showcasing the very best of the country’s raw talent. Now in it’s 11th year, the BAFTA affiliated festival provides a platform for the UK’s young creative talent and plays a significant role in the UK Film Calendar. The London Short Film Festival, now in its 11th year, is recognised as the premiere UK showcase for cutting-edge UK independent film. LSFF will take place over ten days at around twenty major London venues from 10th – 19th January 2014, combining independent shorts, live music, training and parties. Sini Anderson’s feature documentary The Punk Singer, about Bikini Kill and Le Tigre frontwoman Kathleen Hanna, is to open the festival. The opening night is presented in associated with Birds Eye View. There will be a record 32 programmes of new short films in this year’s LSFF selected from open submission entries.
