Art Brut - Sweden and Japan exhibition
The “Art Brut -Sverige och Japan” exhibition is organised in Sweden in the context of the 150th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Japan and Sweden. A project of the International Exchange Program for Disabled People's Culture and Arts of Japan, the exhibition takes place at Edsvik Konsthall in Sollentuna, Sweden, presenting works by 8 Japanese artists and 17 Swedish artists.
The exhibition aims to contribute to further development of the ties between two countries, and also to initiate and promote cultural and artistic activities free from conventional frameworks. It will present beautiful works of 8 Japanese artists as well as 17 Swedish artists selected by Ateljé Inuti and Mentalvårdsmuseet.
