Art Fund Recipients | British Council Vietnam

Five artists have been selected to receive a grant from the British Council in Hanoi. The selected projects of various disciplines have been chosen for their potential impact on society and the local community.  

The British Council Arts Fund aims to support Vietnamese artists and Vietnamese arts organisations in Vietnam. It also aims to enhance collaborative practice between artists and arts organisations in Vietnam and the United Kingdom while promoting better understanding of the two cultures among the wider public.

List of funded projects in Phase 1 are:

  • Projects: Training and Practice of Devising Theatre & Exploring power struggle between women and men with Devised theatre of Phan Y Ly .

  • Film project: Online short film Festival (YxineFF) of Vu Quynh Ha.

  • Photography project: Limited of Phan Thanh Quang

  • The Third Vietnam Caricature Prize – Rồng Tre Cup of  the Culture & Sport Newspaper

  • Visual art exhibition: The Pedestrians of a group of artists: Vu Khanh Van, Le Hien Minh, Nguyen Thuy Hang, Ly Tran Quynh Giang, Nguyen Kim To Lan.
