None

In November 2012, a group of curators and visual art professionals from the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark and Switzerland took part in a 13-day Orientation Trip to Indonesia and China. The goal of this intensive international programme of visits and meetings was to extend international networks and contacts, and to stimulate international dialogue between art professionals.

The 2012 trip was organised by the Mondriaan Fund in the Netherlands. Participating institutes were BAM – the Flemish institute for visual, audiovisual and media art,  the Danish Agency for Culture and Pro Helvetia.

The group of 16 curators and art professionals from institutions, galleries and the independent art scene in Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Maastricht, Brugge, Brussels, Copenhagen, Bern and Basel visited museums, galleries and met people active in the field of contemporary art in Hong Kong, China (Shenzhen and Guangzhou) and Indonesia (Jakarta and Yogyakarta).
