Australia and New Zealand Festival of Literature and Arts | London
London is hosting a new Australia and New Zealand Festival of Literature and Arts from 29 May - 1 June. More than 50 events are scheduled with seriously good literature, film, music and performance from two countries at the (cutting) edge of the world. The Australia and New Zealand Festival of Literature and Arts programme is announced, with the events centred on King's College, London Take a look at the ANZ Literature Month blog, celebrating Australia and New Zealand literature during the month of May. The Aus & NZ Festival is looking for bloggers to join the team in the lead up to London’s best (and only!) Antipodean literature and arts festival. Seeking writers with a passion for Antipodean arts, literature and culture in the UK who would like to write informative and interesting articles for our website in the lead-up to the Festival and around the Festival itself. Content will be focused around Antipodean literature and arts, with a special focus on topics of interest to the UK-based Australian and New Zealand audience. What on earth is it like living in these countries, we hear you ask? Where did it all begin and how did we get to where we are now? What of the ‘special relationship’ between Britain and the ‘antipodes’? The festival is in London – one of the most global, buzzing cities in the world, as you know. So what better place to take a fresh look at what it means to be an Aussie or Kiwi, and experience some of the frankly brilliant books, songs, films and performances that are coming to the UK. As well as the festival, the project is building itself into to a year-round arts network, with a swathe of events across London and the UK.Similar content
