Brussels | The Creators Conference
The upcoming Creators Conference, organised by the European Composer and Songwriter Alliance (ECSA) will focus on music, technology and author's rights and takes place on 19 and 20 February 2013 at the Theatre du Vaudeville, Brussels.
Creators, music business representatives and EU politicians will debate new technologies, collective rights management, the digital single market and authors' rights... Launched in Stockholm in 2010 by the Swedish Society of Popular Music Composers (Skap) the Creators Conference gives a voice to the very representatives of the music sector, the creators, who often remain unheard or undermined and offers a forum for artistic and professional exchange, in order to assess best practices and lessons learned to encounter common problems. The Creators Conference is ECSA's milestone event in representing the interests of composers and songwriters of all music genres towards policy makers and music industry stakeholders. In fact, in this unique occasion creators have the chance to share their views and to exchange their concerns with major stakeholders and representatives of the European institutions. ECSA organized a second edition in 2012 in Brussels.Similar content
