Caochangdi Photospring 2011 | festival

A few days remain to enjoy the second edition of the Caochangdi Photospring Festival organized in partnership with Les Rencontres d'Arles festival. This event serves as a platform where photographers, art collectors, and the public can gather to enjoy exhibitions, lectures, concerts, film screenings, and more. It takes place in the Caochangdi Art District on the outskirts of Beijing, a vibrant artistic hub that comprises galleries, artist studios, and art institutions. The organizers for this year's edition are:

• The Three Shadows Photography Art Centre, established in June 2007, is the only professional institution entirely dedicated to photography and video art in China.
• Thinking Hands, established in 2004, is a structure dedicated to contemporary art practices, that initiated activities to develop and protect the 798 Art District and ran the DIAF (Dashanzi International Art Festival) from 2004 to 2007.
