COPAS | IVAA 4-volume catalogue launch

For the Indonesian Visual Art Archive (IVAA) 4-volume catalogue's release, a number of talks and exhibitions will be taking place in various venues including Ruru Gallery at Ruangrupa, and the Jakarta Arts Institute. Subjects will include visual art practices and environmental issues, gender discourse, economic development through the arts, and alternative media in the context of diversity. The events will take place over several days in presence of local experts. The IVAA's catalogue is divided into 4 themes and comes in printed book format as well as a CD-ROM. Its aim is to develop the understanding of contemporary society through data collection based on Indonesian visual arts. The publication can serve for community development, the enhancement of creative education and art practices, as well as academic research. See full programme of events (in Indonesian only)
