culture360 Media Partnership | Ulaanbaatar International Media Art Festival - virtual edition

culture360.ASEF.org is delighted to be the media partner of Ulaanbaatar International Media Art Festival (UBIMAF) happening virtually from 18 June to 8 July 2020.

In response to the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak UBIMAF will be presented virtually with an enriched program me focusing on online collaborations and virtual presentations. Organised by the Arts Council Mongolia, in partnership with Goethe-Institut Mongolia and TodaysArt Festival and the support of the White Rock Center, this year's theme is “Mirage”, an illusion that seems real.  As time goes by the current reality shall fade away as an illusion, a mirage. 

UBIMAF 2020 virtual event features 4 special activities including 3 international co-creations. International co-creations, include German & Mongolian joint “Mirage”  media art piece by 360  ͦ dome projection for the first time in Mongolia; “Labyrinth” a co-creation by  Dutch & Mongolian joint video, media, light installation; American & Mongolian joint sound composition.

In addition a series of Artsee Talk and a panel discussion titled: “Challenges & Benefits of Creating Online Contents” will be organised during the festival dates.
