Danish Artist Jeppe Hein at Kanazawa Museum

None Danish artist Jeppe Hein's first solo exhibition in Japan is currently taking place at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art in Kanazawa. The exhibition entitled 360º features installation works that highlight the museum's distinctive circular building designed by SANAA, and offers unique spatial experiences to visitors. Born in 1974 in Copenhagen, Hein is known for his humorous installation pieces that stimulate viewers' visual perceptions of art and space. His interactive and experiential artworks can be enjoyed by people of all ages. The Rotating Labyrinth (pictured above) is a maze structure built with mirror lamellae that provides a dizzying experience as one enters the space. The exhibition offers a total of ten artworks that each make a different use of the museum space, alternatively using motion, water, mirrors and light. This exhibition is sponsored by the Danish Arts Council. Image courtesy of Tate Photography
