Light, Art, the Universe and Everything is a one-day conference taking place in Durham on 13 November, at Lumiere 2015, the UK's largest light festival. The conference will explore how light can change the world through arts and culture, science and innovative use of public spaces. A one-day conference for the curious at Lumiere 2015 in Durham, the UK's largest light festival, exploring how light can change the world. Inspired by UNESCO’s International Year of Light 2015, the event is hosted by Lumierefestival producer Artichoke in association with Durham County Council. The Lumiere 2015 festival runs in Durham in the North East of England from 12-15 November. Delegates are also invited to visit the festival during the evening and enjoy Lumiere’s spectacular public programme of installations created by internationally acclaimed artists.
