EMA Reports on the 'National Museum Temperature 2018'

The European Museum Academy (EMA) has recently published an interesting report entitled National Museum Reports 2018. The publication collects commentaries from museum professionals and experts in 15 European countries, describing trends, key issues, challenges and discussions which shaped museum work in their countries in the course of last year. The publication aims to go beyond more traditional international reports and presentations of statistical data, somehow capturing 'the national museum temperature' in 2018. To this end, the report contains subjective, 'inside' views about how museums are doing and what museums experience as their current challenges, whether political, financial, organisational, or other kinds. The EMA publication 'National Museum Reports 2018' is available as a free download at http://europeanmuseumacademy.eu/ema-national-museum-reports-2018/
