European Youth Week 2017
Shape it, move it, be it is the slogan of the European Youth Week 2017.
The week will encourage young people to:
- join discussions on the future of EU youth policy
- participate in Erasmus+ in a new country
- take part in the new European Solidarity Corps
European Youth Week is a celebration of the massive contribution young people make to Europe.
The week will put the spotlight on inspiring stories of the people engaging young people through Erasmus+ projects. These stories will demonstrate how individuals have used Erasmus+ to promote values such as solidarity, inclusion, democracy or active citizenship. Through hard work and innovative thinking, these people have managed to make a real impact and change their communities and the lives of the people around them.
In Brussels
The European Commission will host a conference in to discuss future EU Youth Strategy's priorities and instruments. The Commission will invite the participants based on their expertise, and to ensure the participation of a wide range of youth policy experts, Member State authorities, youth workers, youth organisations and young people. Inspiring change-makers will meet Commissioner Tibor Navracsics, visit the European Parliament and share their stories as part of the celebration.
