First Moving Balkans Contemporary Dance Showcase 2025
The first Moving Balkans Contemporary Dance Showcase will be held in Slovenia and Croatia, 10–13 May 2025.
This event will bring together innovative artists, choreographers, and dance enthusiasts from across the region to celebrate contemporary dance in the Balkans.
Delegates will have the opportunity to connect with industry professionals, explore cutting-edge performances, and gain insights into the vibrant world of contemporary dance in the Balkans. Due to capacity limitations, they will only be able to accommodate one delegate per organisation.
The Moving Balkans Showcase offers a curated program of 10 diverse performances, ranging from intimate to spectacular, and Dance Scape pitch sessions featuring 6 artists, providing a unique window into the rich, dynamic contemporary dance scene of the Balkans. Each city will also feature networking opportunities with local professionals, offering a chance to explore the potential for collaborations and partnerships with artists and organisations from the region.

Entry includes tickets to performances, access to special hotel rates (until the end of February), transportation between the three cities, and daily evening catering.
