Fokus Korea programme at UfaFabrik Berlin

None [caption id="attachment_7454" align="alignright" width="300" caption="Kim Seok Chul"][/caption] Berlin's UfaFabrik presents a Fokus Korea arts events programme in January 2011 with dance, music and performance and a documentary film premiere. Emma Franz's acclaimed documentary feature film Intangible Asset Number 82 will have its German premiere on January 30th 2011 in Berlin at the ufaFabrik (www.ufafabrik.de) in the FOKUS KOREA programme. The film documents drummer Simon Barker's journey to track down enigmatic  Korean Shaman Kim Seok-Chul, believed to be one of the world's most prolific improvisers. After hearing about Kim Seok-Chul years before, Barker attempted to meet and learn from the master, which took no less than seventeen attempts. The Fokus Korea programme offers dance, music, performing arts from the Korean performing arts group NONI.
