Hanoi | Europe Meets Asia in Contemporary Dance | festival

None virpi pahkinen The 4th Dance Festival "Europe meets Asia in Contemporary Dance" takes place in Hanoi 24-28 September. An initiative of EUNIC, the Network of European cultural institutes and embassies in Hanoi, in cooperation with the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet (VNBO), in 2014 it will be again coordinated by the Goethe Institute. Received by both media and the public with enthusiasm and applause, this festival has successfully contributed to a growing awareness of contemporary dance in Hanoi since 2011. On five evenings the audience will experience a broad spectrum of contemporary dance, from and with seven countries involved: Belgium (Wallonie-Bruxelles), France, Japan, Sweden, Finland and Vietnam will present new performances. In addition, there will be a German-Vietnamese and a Belgian-Vietnamese co-production. „Europe meets Asia in Contemporary Dance” takes place at Youth Theatre Hanoi, 11 Ngo Thi Nham Free tickets available from Goethe-Institut, L’Espace and Japan Foundation.
