International Fellowship available at Lehmbruck Museum | Germany
The Stiftung Wilhelm Lehmbruck Museum - Zentrum Internationaler Skulptur, in Duisburg, Germany, has recently launched a call for an International Fellow / Junior Scholar whose primary field of expertise is audience development, communication and curatorial work. The international fellowship is supported by the International Museum Fellowship Programme of Germany's Federal Cultural Foundation.
The aim of the Fellowship at the Lehmbruck Museum is the conceptual development and enhancement of better and more effective outreach measures for the museum. Specific responsibilities include the implementation of analyses of visitor demands and orientation as well as the development of own ideas and innovative instruments to improve audience outreach activities. The fellow will be able to work with a renowned collection and well-established exhibition and communication structures. The result will be an audience orientation concept dedicated to optimising the development of (new) audience groups for the Lehmbruck Museum. Further, research results and insights will be made available to other museums via a symposium accompanied by a published documentation. This will give the fellow an opportunity to build a broad cultural and tourist network.
