Korea to hold arts collaborations with 9 countries
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Korea, announced the project 2024 Korea Round Culture in cooperation with the Korean Foundation for International Cultural Exchange. Launched last year, this venture aims to support collaboration between artists from Korea and abroad through cooperation with foreign missions in Korea and Korean Cultural Centers abroad.
This year's edition will search for and support 12 projects through cooperation with a number of countries, including Italy, Thailand, Singapore and China.
The presented works will combine Korea's culture with that of each participating country in fields such as performing arts, exhibitions and literature. Italy, marking the Year of Cultural Exchange 2024–25 with Korea, will hold events in Korea to expand bilateral exchanges.
