Korea wins Golden Lion at Venice Architecture Biennale

The Jury of the 14th International Architecture Exhibition of la Biennale di Venezia awarded the Golden Lion for Best National Participation to Korea. The award went to the exhibition Crow’s Eye View: The Korean Peninsula — curated by Mass Studies founder Minsuk Cho.

The 14th International Architecture Exhibition, entitled Fundamentals is directed by Rem Koolhaas and organized by la Biennale di Venezia.It is open to the public from June 7 through November 23, 2014, in the Giardini and the Arsenale.

The Jury was composed of Francesco Bandarin (President, Italy), Kunlé Adeyemi (Nigeria), Bregtje van der Haak (The Netherlands), Hou Hanru (China), and Mitra Khoubrou (United Arab Emirates)
