La Gacilly Photo Festival | focus on Japanese photography

Till 30th September, 13th edition of La Gacilly Photo Festival in Brittany, France is the largest open air photography festival in France. The 2016 festival's guest country is Japan with a special focus on Japanese photography. It also wishes to raise awareness on environmental issues and, in resonance with COP21 it takes the theme of the oceans.

Among other exhibitions at La Gacilly festival, discover Tokyo Parrots (above) by Yoshinori Mizutani 水谷吉法. Japan is the guest country at the Festival Photo La Gacilly all summer till 30 September. As well as numerous exhibitions by contemporary Japanese photographers, all exhibited in the open air settings, there are exhibitions of historical photography (info follows in French only):
