Lessons in Film | Interview to Wu Tianming at the Singapore Chinese Film Festival

On 12 April 2014 in Singapore, the
Filmic Eye Talks at the Screening Room will present the screening of the interview to the late
Chinese Filmmaker Wu Tianming. The interview will be followed by a screening of Wu Tianming's
The King of Masks, with an exclusive post-screening discussion led by David Lee, co-founder of the Filmic Eye and director of the
Singapore Chinese Film Festival 2014.
The Filmic Eye Talks is a special monthly programme to
enrich their understanding and appreciation of films. Each session will feature a film followed by an engaging discussion led by an expert speaker.
The interview to Wu Tianming is part of a series of
10 interviews with some of the world‘s foremost film personalities such as
Lord David Puttnam (on Film Producing),
Roberto Perpignani (on the art of Film Editing) and
Grant Major (on Film Production Design), among others.
10 Lessons in Film is a research based pilot project aimed at increasing the stock of knowledge in exchanging discipline specific research between foremost European and Asia Pacific Filmmakers. Launched in 2011, the project is supported by the
Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) and CILECT (International Association of Film and Television Schools).
