M1 Singapore Fringe Festival 2014
The M1 Singapore Fringe Festival 2014 explores and exults in the different aspects of the relationship between 'Art and the People' and runs 8-19 January in various venues across the city. The M1 Singapore Fringe Festival 2014 marks the 10th year that The Necessary Stage (TNS) and M1 have been presenting the festival to the people! Check out the programme, which includes performances by theatre company Mundo Perfeito, from Portugal and Compagnie Kham / Olé Khamchanla in a France-Singapore dance collaboration. The Majurah Singapura – Tree Project by Hiroshi Sunairi from Japan involves Singaporean green fingers: Sunairi has distributed seeds of trees that survived the atomic bombing in Hiroshima, which are known as Hibaku trees, and has invited them to grow the seeds and nurture the seedlings.
