Mini Centres for Regional Creativity by TCDC in Thailand

The Thailand Creativity and Design Center (TCDC) is opening new learning centres in partnership with 12 regional universities in order to share knowledge and learning resources with local students, academics, designers and entrepreneurs in the country.

Each miniTCDC offers a design library with a rotating collection of 200 books and provides access to material databases and samples. Small exhibitions, lectures and seminars will also travel between centres. The initiative seeks to source information on material and product development, deliver textbooks and multimedia, as well as host touring exhibitions.

Cities planned to have a miniTCDC are Chiang Mai / Chiang Rai / Chonburi / Kamphaeng Phet / Khon Kaen / Mahasarakam / Nakhon Si Thammarat / Phetchaburi / Phitsanulok / Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya / Songkhla / Ubon Ratchathani.
